  • At any time when the local data usage on a plan nearly reaches the monthly allowance, an SMS notification will be sent to the customer. The customer may reply to the SMS to purchase a top-up. If no top-up is purchased, data service will be suspended when the data usage has reached the allowance. Customer may purchase a top-up at any time to resume service, or wait until the beginning of the next bill month to commence service again with the new monthly data allowance.

    Any unused top-up local mobile data can be carried forward for free and can be used before the end of the next bill month. This is only applicable to designated service plans (1GB or above) with an “Advise & Consent” mechanism for the purchase of top-up data.

  • Prepayment is required for subscribing to the above plans. It will be credited to the customer by monthly instalments over the contract period.

    To enjoy HK$0 cash prepayment and 0% interest instalments, customers are required to subscribe to the iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscription(6GB) and paying with one of the selected credit cards of HSBC, Hang Seng, SCB, Manhattan, Citibank, BOC, Dah Sing, MEVAS, DBS, BEA, Fubon Bank, Bank of Communications, Wing Hang Bank, Wing Lung Bank, Shanghai Commercial Bank, China Construction Bank or AEON. The above offer is required to use designated credit card for settlement and monthly service fees should be settled by credit card autopay. The prepayments under this offer are HK$7,980 (64GB)/HK$9,180 (256GB) for iPhone X. The prepayment (minus the smartphone price) will be withheld from the customer's credit card limit, and this will be released in line with the monthly handset repayment charged to customer's credit card over the life of the contract. This charge will be credited to the customer's mobile service monthly bill over the course of the contract.

  • SmarTone Screen Replace™ is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel.

  • The monthly fee HK108/HK$36 is calculated based on the original monthly fee HK$136/HK$46, after a rebate of HK$28/HK$10 per month has been given to the customer within contract period.

Terms and Conditions for these Offers
    iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plans:
  • Prepayment of HK$7,980 (64GB)/HK$9,180 (256GB) for iPhone X is required for customers not using the designated credit cards. Refund of prepayment (minus the smartphone price) are: 1GB plan: HK$4,100 (64GB / 256GB) for iPhone X; 2.5GB plan: HK$5,400 (64GB / 256GB) for iPhone X; 6GB plan: HK$6,300 (64GB / 256GB) for iPhone X which will be credited to the customer by monthly instalments over the contract period.
  • Customers are required to pay an admin fee of HK$18/month.
  • WiFi service fee is waived during contract period only.
  • WiFi service:
    • Customers are required to register for WiFi service through our 24-hour service hotline 2880 2688.
    • WiFi service applies to designated WiFi hotspots provided by Y5 ZONE Limited in Hong Kong only.

  • Call duration is rounded up to full charge units for computation purposes. Each full charge unit is based on a per minute airtime charge.

If the customer uses this plan on any 2G phones/ connected devices or any phones/ connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network, any charges which may incur will be borne by the customer. Actual data transmission speeds may vary due to Internet traffic conditions, local conditions, hardware, software and other conditions, which may arise.
  • Plans are not applicable to BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions.

  • FUP Unlimited Data :
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB/10GB).
  • Customers opting for FUP Unlimited Data, the contract end date will be the same as the SuperCare Smartphone Plan.
  • FUP Unlimited Data cannot be used in conjuction with Multi-SIM Plan, Tag-On SIM Plan and 10GB Add-on Local Data Plan.
  • Free WiFi service:
    i) Free WiFi service is available to a Customer who has subscribed to a designated FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
    ii) Free WiFi service will be terminated if the Customer changes to other service plan.
    iii) Customers are required to register for WiFi service through our 24-hour service hotline 2880 2688.
    iv) WiFi service applies to designated WiFi hotspots provided by Y5 ZONE Limited in Hong Kong only.

  • FUP Unlimited Data is not applicable to 2G phones / connected devices or any phones / connected devices which have manually opted for 2G network, and not applicable to other connected devices (including but not limited to USB modem / pocket wi-fi / TV box / BlackBerry smartphones with BlackBerry 7 OS and earlier versions ).
  • Subject to relevant terms and conditions. Please refer to T&C-T249 for details.

  • Data Upgrade Choice:
  • Only available to customers who have subscribed to a designated SuperCare Smartphone Plan (6GB or above) and FUP Unlimited Data Plan.
  • Customers opting for Data Upgrade Choice Plan, including the local data entitlement of the SuperCare Smartphone Plan, the total local data entitlement would not be less than 30GB per month.
  • The contract end date of Data Upgrade Choice Plan will be the same as the FUP Unlimited Data Plan. At the end of contract, unless customer gives not less than 30 days prior notice to terminate the service, we will continue to provide the service and customer will be charged at the prevailing monthly fee of Data Upgrade Choice Plan.
  • If customer terminates Data Upgrade Choice Plan or FUP Unlimited Data Plan within the contract of Data Upgrade Choice Plan, customer shall pay us liquidated damages of the corresponding service(s).
  • Data Upgrade Choice Plan cannot be used in conjunction with Multi-SIM, Tag-On SIM Plans and other Add-on Local Data Plan.

  • SmarTone Screen Replace™ (For iPhone):
  • Upon accidental physical damage of the smartphone screen and/or its attached LCD panel, within 12 months of the effective date of Screen Replace and subscription to a designated iPhone SuperCare Smartphone Plan with handset subscripton, SmarTone will reimburse the cost of screen/LCD panel repair or replacement, once only within the first 12 months from the effective date of Screen Replace.
  • A customer may choose the 24-month option of SmarTone Screen Replace™, by paying a fee of HK$350. Or paying a fee of HK$450 to get reimbursement for the cost of screen/LCD panel repair or replacement, twice in the 24-month period.
  • The reimbursement is subject to submission by the customer of the official invoice from the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres as stipulated by SmarTone.
  • The reimbursement is restricted to covering the repair or replacement cost of accidental physical damage of the handset screen and/or its attached LCD panel, and expressly excludes any other repair and refurbishment of any other component or the handset itself. If the smartphone manufacturer or its authorised repair centres, as stipulated by SmarTone, offer a handset replacement as the only option for repair, SmarTone may exercise discretion and will reimburse 60% on the cost of handset replacement. The reimbursement percentage can vary from time to time and SmarTone's decision on the validity for reimbursement is absolute and final.

  • SmarTone Plus membership & privilege:
  • Customers who subscribe or renew designated mobile service plan will enjoy SmarTone Plus membership. The membership offered depends on the service plan selected.
  • Fixed-term contract is required for designated membership tier.
  • SmarTone Mobile Communication Limited may terminate or change the terms and conditions of SmarTone Plus at any time without prior notice.

  • Greater Bay Area Easy Pack (Data top-up options) :
  • On subscription of the Greater Bay Area Easy Pack, monthly data allowance and top-up of Greater Bay Area Easy Pack data purchased can be shared in China and Macau.
  • Customer opting for Greater Bay Area Easy Pack, the contract end date will be the same as the subscribed designated Plan.
  • Greater Bay Area Easy Pack is only available for customers who have subscribed to the Company's designated monthly mobile service plan with a Hong Kong Identity Card. Applicants for this service must be the account holder of the company's monthly mobile service plan.
  • The customer will be entitled Free "Easy Number" Service within contract period at the time of contract effective date of Greater Bay Area Easy Pack. For details of "Easy Number" Service and China Mobile Number Application Form, please click here.
  • (Applicable to Family Plan) The free "Easy Number" Service is only available to Primary SIM Card upon a subscription of a designated SuperCare Family Plan by Primary SIM Card.
  • Any unused monthly entitlement and top-up data of Greater Bay Area Easy Pack - 1.5GB Travel Savvy will be carried forward to next bill month for free and can be used before the end of the next bill month.

  • (Applicable to Family Plan) If Primary SIM Card customer subscribe the Greater Bay Area Easy Pack, all mobile numbers under the designated Family plan should also activate Virtual WiFi Egg or "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan at the same time.
  • When the Customer is within the location of China and Macau and if the Customer's accumulated Greater Bay Area Easy Pack data usage exceeds monthly data allowance and top-up of Greater Bay Area Easy Pack data purchased (if applicable), the roaming data usage will be suspended automatically. Virtual WiFi Egg and "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan are not applicable.
  • When the Customer is within the location of any of the overseas destinations other than China and Macau, the daily roaming data usage will be charged by Virtual WiFi Egg or "Upgraded" Roaming Data Day Plan subscribed by the customer.
  • Greater Bay Area Easy Pack cannot be subscribed in conjunction with DataRoam services and China Macau Data Pack.
  • Greater Bay Area Easy Pack cannot be subscribed separately in conjunction with "Easy Number" Service (excluding the secondary SIM Cards of Family Plan).
  • (Applicable to Family Plan) Greater Bay Area Easy Pack is only available to Primary SIM Card. All mobile numbers under the designated Family plan can enjoy the China Macau monthly data allowance under Greater Bay Area Easy Pack upon subscription of the Primary SIM Card.
  • If Macau 1 Card 2 Numbers customer subscribe Greater Bay Area Easy Pack, data entitlement of Macau under Macau 1 Card 2 Numbers will be forfeited.
